In Asia, almost everyone drives a moped to get around. One morning, the moped I was using in Thailand wouldn’t start. My boyfriend at the time decided to drive me around on his moped, but my intuition was freaking out the entire time. 

We crashed the moped into the grass (at least it wasn’t off the face of the mountain), and my foot hit a pole, ripping my big toenail off and breaking all of my toes.  

And to top it off, the ambulance got a flat tire while we were on the way to the hospital!
