Welcome adventure lovers

Hey, I’m your hype girl Molly!

I may not be a full-time van-lifer, professional rock climber or expert jet setter. But my love for the outdoors and passion for travel are very real and very personal. These experiences have challenged me to push the boundaries of my comfort zone and reach new heights in my personal growth journey. And isn’t that the point of life? To live, learn and reach your fullest potential?

Paving My Own Path

Unfulfilled. 9-5. Fake smile.
What I'd rather be doing.

It wasn’t until 2014 when I stumbled upon the most mesmerizing picture of Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park on Instagram. Seeing the hues of green, blue and orange colliding together to create something so breathtaking was the catalyst I needed to take the trip that shifted my entire perspective on life.

Although I had been on annual camping trips with my family growing up, my knowledge of outdoor recreation was minimal. I was so overwhelmed when I started planning for this epic camping/hiking/road trip in southern Utah. What equipment did I need? How do I camp? Am I fit enough to hike? And how the hell was I supposed to do this affordably within the 5 vacation days I took off work?

But nerd Molly prevailed. My number-crunching, spreadsheet-loving, analytical personality took over. It took patience, but after months of researching (and a few episodes of analysis paralysis), I finally came up with my first itinerary, packing list and budget. And it was all worth it. I sat on top of Inspiration Point watching sunrise, experiencing the most refreshing and liberating feelings ever. For the first time in my adult life, I finally felt like I was living. And I craved more.

Since that trip, it’s been my priority to do more things outside my comfort zone. I’ve visited 18 national parks, traveled to 24 countries, competed in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, learned how to surf, ate lizard soup, experienced traveler’s stomach (RIP to many soiled undies) and have so much more to do. All of these experiences were opportunities to learn new skills, test my mental strength, and develop my confidence and independence. Not all experiences were great, but I got comfortable with being uncomfortable. I constantly crave this feeling because I know that I am on my way to reaching my full potential and living a more fulfilling life.

It’s never too late for you adventure out of your comfort zone. I encourage you to find what fuels your fire. Forget what society’s expectations are or what other people think.

just do you.
“Your comfort zone is not a place that you want to remain in.
Dare, discover, be all that you can be.”
